Commercial vehicle distributor

Rota Environmental Services were asked by a leading commercial
vehicle distributor to recommend a system to deal with a major
problem concerned with handling flood water.

They have a very large area of forecourt surrounding their
workshops and service centre and during periods of heavy
rain the drainage system could not cope leading to localised
flooding of the work areas.


Working with the client we agreed a design that involved the
installation of a large underground holding tank which, combined
with a redesigned surface water drainage system stored large
quantities of rainwater, allowing surplus water to be collected and
stored before being allowed to enter the main drainage system
once it was under less pressure.
