Barn conversion in Sussex
Sewage treatment plant

Rota Environmental Services were asked to provide a solution for a barn
conversion in Sussex that needed to take waste from the main building but
also from a swimming pool changing room in the garden.

The existing tank was in a poor position so it was agreed to site the new plant
in a different part of the garden which involved a re-routing of the drainage line
from the house.

A 12-person tank was installed in a more isolated part of the garden and a new chamber was installed to take the lines from the house and the changing room.

The discharge from the tank was then taken to a small stream that ran at the
back of the property.
